About Us

How we started

Me2You Sandwiches Ltd. was established in 2011 by Philip & Alison Murtagh. The Company is based in Ballyholland, Newry, County Down and is rapidly growing. The extensive range of products is distributed to retail outlets, delicatessens, corporate events, (office meetings/business lunches) food service providers and restaurant/café chains across both the North and South of Ireland in the companies refrigerated vehicles.

All products are distributed by our own distributers and are manufactured in a fully approved food grade production facility. We have a fleet of refrigerated vehicles on the road presently, and our location between Belfast and Dublin with access to the M1 provides us with the perfect location to serve our customers as over 60% of the population lives on the east coast on the island of Ireland.

In 2017, Me2You Sandwiches were finalists in the Greater Newry Area Business Awards in the category “Best Innovative Business”. We successfully completed an InterTrade Ireland FUSION Project which began in December 2015 and finished in June 2017. After the project was completed Me2You Sandwiches were awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence in Innovation’.

OUR BRAND

Me2You Sandwiches have recently rebranded to VIAND in 2018, this allowed us to refresh the brand by giving it a whole new look, new packaging and labels were developed to keep up with current trends.

Viand is a French word which means “an item of food, especially a choice or tasty dish”.
A Viand is something so good you’ll think about it for weeks after you eat it

The new branding has incorporated colourful designs, but our main focus was to ensure the brand was kept simplistic with only relevant information being illustrated on our packaging.
